Steal An Egg Beginner Guide

The game loop is: steal an egg from a biome nest → carry it to your base → hatch it → the pet earns cash every second → spend cash on treadmill/base upgrades → treadmill builds Speed → Speed unlocks deeper biomes with rarer eggs. Start in Forest, and your first milestone is 900 Speed for the Lake biome. Every 4:30 the in-game night resets all nest eggs.

The beginner path
Do these in order.

Steal your first Forest eggs
Forest needs 0 Speed. Grab eggs from the Chicken-guarded nests and carry them back to your base to hatch. Chicken ($1/s) and Dog ($2/s) pets start your income.

Hatch toward Brr Brr Patapim
Forest's best documented pet is Brr Brr Patapim (Legendary, $1,800/s) — 900× a Chicken. Keep stealing Forest eggs each 4:30 night cycle while income builds.

Train the treadmill constantly
Speed gates everything. Run on your treadmill whenever you're not stealing — especially at night, when stealing is disabled (community-reported) and eggs reset anyway.

Hit 900 Speed → Lake
Lake brings the Epic Trulimero Trulicina ($260/s). Measure your speed-per-minute on the treadmill, then use the speed calculator to plan each unlock.

Climb: Desert 10K → Jungle 40K → Snow 170K
Jungle's Spider (Mythic, $22,000/s) and Snow's King Mammoth (Cosmic, $400,000/s) are the early-game income jumps that fund everything after.

Chase mutations on good bases

Common mistakes
Mistakes every new player makes.
• Ignoring the treadmill. Income without Speed traps you in shallow biomes. Alternate stealing and training.
• Holding slow pets too long. A Fox ($180/s) beats eight Chickens — fuse or replace weak pets as pools improve.
• Stealing blind at night. Nests reset on the 4:30 cycle; use nights for training.
• Trusting “codes” lists. The game has no redemption system — see the codes page before clicking any code list.
